Classic Burger

Many people seem to prefer a simple meat-free combo over its meat counterpart. Just beware, that some of the meat-free patties can lack in quality compared to others. Aldi’s are pretty good. Beyond Burgers are expensive but better than beef, in my opinion.

You’ll need:

  • Burger bun sliced in half and toasted on both sides

  • Burger patty (I used plant-based burger patties)

  • Romaine or cos lettuce, a whole leaf

  • Red onion thinly sliced or caramelised onions

  • Tomato thick slice

  • 2 tsp burger sauce or mustard &/or ketchup

Fry the patties for around 2 minutes on each side on high heat. Or follow the instructions on the packaging for how to cook.

From the bottom up layer, the bottom of the bun, burger sauce, onion, lettuce, tomato, more burger sauce, patty, then more burger sauce on the top of the bun before sticking together.

Enjoy!
