Miso Mushrooms

This is a very quick and simple recipe you can use in noodles & sandwiches. You can replace miso with tahini if you can’t find any miso!

You’ll need:

  • 1 tbsp miso paste

  • 2 tbsp tamari or soy sauce

  • ½ maple syrup (optional)

Mix these ingredients together until a smooth paste.

  • 1 tsp olive oil or vegetable oil

  • 4-5 portobello mushrooms sliced lengthwise into five pieces

Heat up a frying pan and add the oil, sliced mushrooms & miso mix until the mushrooms are golden brown or borderline burnt.
