Kofte (Meatballs)

Meat or no meat, kofte (meatballs) can be made in a way that they will be mouthwatering every time. Here is our recipe for these little lumps of magic that will leave you craving them day in, day out!

You’ll need:

  • 250g mince (I used plant-based beef)

  • 2 cloves of garlic finely chopped

  • 2 tsp ground cumin or cumin seeds

  • 1 tsp ground coriander

  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon (optional)

  • 100g / 2-3 shallots finely chopped

  • 45g gram flour or breadcrumbs

  • 5g fresh coriander

  • ½ tsp salt

In a mixing bowl, mix all the ingredients, and make 1” sized balls.

Shallow fry on a few sides.

Add to the sauce and serve!
