Guacamole

A very versatile side dish that pairs with the majority of savoury foods. You’ll need ripe avocados for this one. If you can’t find any soft avocados. Check out our recipe for mango & avocado salsa.

You’ll need:

  • 1 large (ripe) avocado or 2 small mash the avocado with a fork, leaving some chunks

  • ¼ red onion or brown onion finely chopped

  • ¼ clove of garlic finely chopped

  • 2 tomatoes inside of the tomatoes only & finely chopped (you can use the outer layer of the tomatoes for pico de gallo)

  • 1 lime juiced

  • ½ tsp salt

To bring out the flavour in the avocados the guacamole needs to be slightly acidic and salty. Serve with a dish of your choice!
