Vietnamese Bahn Mi Tacos

This is only a 20-minute recipe if you have already prepared the Đồ Chua (Vietnamese pickles).

Per taco, from bottom to top, you’ll need:

  • Flour tortilla or corn tortilla

  • ½ tsp Thai chilli or chilli cam

  • ½ tsp peri peri or any alt. chilli sauce

  • 1 tbsp mince or homemade mince cooked

  • Pinch of sweated onions (optional)

  • Large pinch of Đồ Chua

  • Pinch of fresh coriander + fresh mint + Thai basil finely chopped

Optional - sweated onion:

  • 1 red onion thinly sliced

  • 50ml white vinegar

  • 50ml water

  • 1 tsp mustard seeds

Boil the water and vinegar and simply pour over the sliced onions and mustard seeds. And leave for 5 minutes.
