Vietnamese Bahn Mi Tacos
This is only a 20-minute recipe if you have already prepared the Đồ Chua (Vietnamese pickles).
Per taco, from bottom to top, you’ll need:
Flour tortilla or corn tortilla
½ tsp Thai chilli or chilli cam
½ tsp peri peri or any alt. chilli sauce
1 tbsp mince or homemade mince cooked
Pinch of sweated onions (optional)
Large pinch of Đồ Chua
Pinch of fresh coriander + fresh mint + Thai basil finely chopped
Optional - sweated onion:
1 red onion thinly sliced
50ml white vinegar
50ml water
1 tsp mustard seeds
Boil the water and vinegar and simply pour over the sliced onions and mustard seeds. And leave for 5 minutes.
